This years Gala Queen will be crowned on Saturday 6th June at the annual Campsie Show at  Bogton Farm.

Hannah Mills, a primary seven pupil from Torrance Primary School and her attendants, Jilly Nisbet and Kathryn Outram will attend the ever popular event where last years Gala Queen, Kirsty Wilson, now a first year pupil at Boclair Academy will hand over the crown.

The Gala parade will leave from Torrance memorial at 12 pm and the Queen and her attendants will lead the procession up to Bogton Farm where the crowning ceremony will take place.

There will be performances from local groups, a craft tent, falconry, dog show, stunt riding as well as sheep shearing and milking demonstrations.

Entry to the Campsie Show is £3 for adults, £1 for kids and £5 if you wish to park your car.
